Back in the day, we made Nestle Toll House Cookies because they were easy. At youth events, the host or hostess, made these delicious treats. Mom or Dad didn’t have to help, they were idiot proof and fattening. We gorged out eating cookies and Coke.
The greatest joy was to eat the raw cookie dough as you made them, who would know? One young lady baked the cookies for less than the recommended time and they were super gooey. No one worried about E.Coli, we didn’t know what it was. We didn’t care, life was simpler then.
Nestle has to contend with E.Coli. It doesn’t seem like such a big deal, they are a large company with many products and it’s just a product line that has been tainted. If it was Chocolate Nesquik that was the problem, this blog would be different. You can bet your bippy ( back to the good old days) that I would be looking at UPC Codes on the Nesquik on the counter.
If your frig has the Nestle or any other recalled products, take a moment to look in the kitchen, you never know.
