As soon as Walmart was notified of the recall, they sent directions to the stores affected to begin removing the product from the shelves, according to an e-mail from a Walmart representative.
Walmart also instituted a register lockdown to prevent the sale of these specific items.
These products may be contaminated with Salmonella and if eaten, could result in a severe illness to animals that may consume the product.
Customers who bought these products from Walmart should return them for a full refund.
