For those of you who don’t know me personally, I love ice cream. It started with my father who loved ice cream and used to take me as a treat to a now out of business ice cream stand in Melrose, Massachusetts.
It continued when I met my future husband who loved ice cream and we took our children to a seasonal ice cream stand in Boxford, MA that had the most incredible red raspberry ice cream and Mel E Tharb in Wakefield, MA and now we go for a real treat in Middleton, MA and go to Richardson’s.
Today there is a nationwide allergen alert and recall of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Their ice cream is in my freezer. Now that summer is here, I have to make the rounds of my favorite ice cream stands.
