This has NOTHING to do with China, there are certain amounts of arsenic in the soil, and yes the US soil also, as for the "Surprised to find out Wegmans had China stamped on apple concentrate" wake up and do some research, Chine produces over 70% of the Apple concentrate that is used for juice worldwide, most of the apple grown in the US are used for the Fresh Market, this is just a fact of life, if you want Apple juice more than likely its coming from China!

When did people stop being accountable for their own choices?!?! There are LOTS of cookbooks and chefs who present unhealthy foods. That doesn't mean we should eat all of those foods. We live in a culture where we blame others for choices we've made.

This is unfortunate, but it's a sad reality about the food industry. Some of our fruits and vegetables are grown and imported from foreign countries that still use banned pesticides. Food companies know this but don't do anything because they want to make a profit from cheap produce and farm labor available in other countries. The horrible thing is that we don't know what kinds of pesticides are used to grow the produce in other countries because of the lack of regulation over there.

It would be good if we had legislation that forces food companies to disclose where they get their produce from to make juices and other food products. This would at least tell us whether a food is made with ingredients from a country that has poor regulation of pesticide use. There should also be better testing and regulation of the chemicals that are in food, preferably conducted by the FDA or other independent organization.
