Trader Joe’s Recalls Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice Recalled for Listeria in 14 states & DC

To Our Valued Customers in our CT, DE, FL, MA, ME, MD, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, VA & Washington DC stores:

We have been alerted by our supplier of Trader Joe’s Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice (sku 99032) that there is a possibility that product with a production date of “305 12”* may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Butter Chicken with Basmati RiceIn accordance with our stringent health and safety standards, and out of the utmost caution and care for our customers, all code dates of this product have been removed from sale and destroyed. To date, we have received no reports of illness related to this product.

Customers who have purchased this item are urged to not eat it, and to dispose of it or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
