Oh you’re just a blogger – put down by a PR agency

Posted on August 8, 2013 by

I feel like I should burst into Loretta Lynn’s ” I’m Proud to be a Coal Miner’s Daughter” song. I was put down by a PR Agency handling a recall.

I don’t trust second-hand information, especially about recalls.  There can be too much misinformation.

The woman asked me what the name of my website was and I said, blog.usfoodsafety.com.  She said, “Oh you’re just a blogger” and took my e-mail address.

I am proud to be a blogger. We have consistently broken viewer records on our blog. Our Twitter number surpass 317,000 followers. She knows nothing about US Food Safety and our worldwide reach.

Perhaps she is getting sick of media outlets calling her about a recall and the unknown source that is still a mystery.
