Snack Sticks & Bratwurst Recall

Marchant Meats and Sausage, located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, is recalling approximately 1,915 total pounds of snack sticks and bratwurst. The products contain nonfat dry milk that was not listed in the ingredient statement on the label.

No illnesses have been reported from consuming this product.

Products included in this recall are vacuum-packaged and labeled with the state legend.  Individual items are listed below:

  • Fajita Chicken Snack Sticks—1/2 pound packages
  • Garlic & Pepper Chicken Snack Sticks—1/2 pound packages
  • Fajita Bratwurst—1 1/2 pound packages
  • Hot Sticks—1/2 pound packages
  • Mild Beef Sticks —1/2 pound packages

All products were sold in retail stores and through wholesalers in the Door County area between July 2013 and April 18, 2014. Consumers who have any of these products may return them to Marchant Meats and Sausage or discard them.
