Little Italy Paninis Recalled

All lots of Giant Eagle brand Little Italy Paninis, prepared and sold individually from the Prepared Foods department inside Giant Eagle and Market District supermarkets through March 23, 2015 have been recalled by Giant Eagle due to an undeclared egg allergen.

The recalled Little Italy Paninis were purchased in Giant Eagle and Market District supermarkets in Pennsylvania and Ohio. There are no reported illnesses to date associated with this recall.

The paninis were sold individually from the Prepared Foods department with UPCs of:

97525 20399 Little Italy Panini, Cold
07369 20399 Little Italy Panini, Hot

Customers with an egg allergy who have purchased the affected product should dispose of it or return it to their local Giant Eagle or Market District store for a refund. Customers with questions may call Giant Eagle Customer Care at 1-800-553-2324 Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. EDT.
