Pizza restaurant closed by Boston, MA BOH for Flies

The Boston, MA board of health has posted the following restaurant closure for critical foodborne illness violations.

Inspection Date: 11/9/2015

* Pass Non-Food Contact Surfaces

Comments: Repair Food storage shelving to remove rust at some areas.

* Pass Dishwashng Facilities

Comments: Replace missing fixture and leaky fixture at 3 bay sink.

* Pass Equipment Thermometers

Comments: Replace missing thermometer inside one door upright unit. unit at 31F-ok

* Pass Non-Food Contact Surfaces Clean

Comments: Clean storage shelving below cooking line to remove food spills.

*** Pass Hot and Cold Water

Comments: Establishment without running water. Contact health division when water service is restored.

* Pass Installed and Maintained

Comments: Repair leaky pipe below 3 bay sink.

** Violation Insects, Rodents, Animals

Comments: Evidence of flies at basement area, provide pest control report.

* Pass Improper Maintenance of Floors

Comments: Clean floor below cooking equipment to remove grease spills.

* Pass Premises Maintained

Comments: Remove mops and brooms from kitchen area and store properly at maintenance area.

*** Pass PIC Performing Duties

Comments: Post Site Cleanliness Permit. Provide renderer company.
