Consumer Alert: Undeclared Peanuts in “Corriander Powder”

New York State Agriculture Commissioner Richard A. Ball today alerted consumers to undeclared peanuts in America’s Best brand “Corriander Powder,” packaged and distributed by Patel Grocery located at 5303 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11220. No illnesses have been reported to date to the Department in connection with this product.

The recalled “Corriander Powder” is packaged in an uncoded, 7 oz., 14 oz. or 28 oz. plastic bag. The product was sold at various retail stores in Brooklyn.

Consumers who have purchased “Corriander Powder” may return the product to the place of purchase. Consumers with questions about the recalled product may contact Ishwer Patel, president of Patel Grocery, at 718-748-6369.
