The Boston MA Board of Health has closed the following restaurant for Critical Foodborne Illness Violations.

Comments:
Sausages on shutoff grill with temperature of 53F, cooked peppers and onions at ambient room temperature with temperature of 68F, cooked onions at 73F. Ensure cooked PHF hot held at 140F or above. All foods out of temperature disposed of and denatured on site.

Comments:
Establishment without hot and cold running water. Spoke with owner Eric Gava by phone who stated pipes froze over previous weekend and water shutoff to establishment. Hand sink at cookline without running water during inspection. Provide access to hot and cold running water.

Cookline handsink inoperable. Only handsink at cookline. Repair.

Comments:
Multiple bags of trash being stored outside the business in exterior stairway. Store all trash in secure and covered recepticles. Provide current site cleanliness permit.

* Improper Maintenance of Floors

Comments:
Floors under cookline equipment with heavy buildup of grease and food soils. Clean to remove. Tiles missing at front entrance. Replace.

Comments:
Hood sticker expired and hood not operating at the time of inspection. Repair hood and provide current hood sticker.

Comments:

Comments:
Owner failure to renew health permit (8-303-20) Owner must renew health permit as soon as possible at 1010 Massachusetts Avenue 4th floor. Young child in kitchen during inspection. Restrict unauthorized personell in kitchen.
