The following establishment was closed by the Boston MA board of health for critical foodborne illness violations.

*** Adequate Handwashing/Where/When/How

Comments: Employees are unable to properly wash their hands without hot water. Train employees about proper handwashing.

*** Hot and Cold Water

Comments: There is no hot water at the handsink or three compartment sink the manager said that the water warms up later in the day but the hot water was allowed to run for over five minutes and the temperature was still 40F. Provide hot and cold running water so employees can properly wash their hands and sanitize equipment.

*** Location, Accessible

Comments: The handwash sink is blocked with drying equipment. Remove items to provide access to handwash sink.

** Insects, Rodents, Animals

Comments: There are rodent droppings in the storage area. Clean up droppings and continue to treat for rodents.

* Improper Maintenance of Walls/Ceilings

Comments: There is peeling paint on the ceiling. Resurface to provide smooth, cleanable surface.

*** PIC Performing Duties

Comments: The establishment was open and operating with no hot water. Managers need to take active managerial control and cease operation if an imminenet health hazard.
