BJ’s posts Chicken Sausage Recall

BJ’s Wholesale Club has posted the following recall on its website.

At Perdue Farms we appreciate your business and understand the importance of always providing your family foods that are of the highest quality.

Recently, Perdue Farms Inc. in cooperation with USDA, has initiated a recall. This recall involves 179 cases (2,148 pounds) of Article #24781, UPC code 72745-64405 PERDUE® HARVESTLAND® Fully Cooked Italian Style Organic Chicken Sausage with Use or Freeze By dates of 6/25/2017. The products are being recalled for a potential small number of packages that may contain pieces of plastic. Perdue has received no reports of injury or illness due to consumption of these products.

If you have any of these packages in your home please do not consume either product and please contact Perdue Farms at 877-727-3447 for a full refund of your purchase. Please have your package available for reference during the call and please dispose of either product after the call.
