Aldi has posted the following recall information on its website:

Recalled product: Happy Harvest Canned Spinach 13.5 oz
Lot code: A23IX.
Best buy: January 2021
UPC code: 041498131289

Reason: Potential presence of peanuts resulting from product mislabeling.

What is being done: ALDI has removed the affected product from its stores.

Where it was sold: Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.
The product was also available for purchase to ALDI customers in the Atlanta and Chicago areas through the company’s partnership with Instacart.

To date, no illnesses related to this product have been reported.
