Illy Whole Bean Coffee Product Recall

Illy Caffé North America recalls 250 gram/8.8 ounce cans of Illy Whole Bean coffee in medium roast, dark roast and decaf WITH missing air valve on the bottom of the canister with best by dates of 10/2019; 11/2019; or 12/2019 printed on the bottom of the can. The coffee bean lid can detach suddenly with force upon opening when missing an air valve on the bottom of the can, posing an injury hazard. No injuries have been reported to date and the packaging flaw does not affect the coffee quality. Consumers who purchased the certain product are encouraged to return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.

The recall is limited to only the specific production codes listed below.
