Publix posts Ground Beef & Pork products Recall at one store

Publix posted the following recall on its website.

Sold at GreenWise Market: No

Publix Super Markets, Inc. is voluntarily recalling all ground beef and pork products produced at the store in the Lake Gibson Shopping Center on June 1, 2019, due to the potential presence of foreign material (plastic or metal). These ground beef products will have a sell by date of June 3, 2019.

Publix at Lake Gibson Shopping Center
6767 US Hwy 98 N, Lakeland, FL 33809

Affected products
All ground beef and pork products with a sell by date of June 3, 2019. This includes only products ground in the store such as ground beef, ground pork, meatloaf, meatballs, ready-to-cook meals containing ground meat and sold in the meat case. It does not include prepackaged ground products that were not ground in the store. No other Publix products or locations are affected by this recall.

Customers are encouraged to return this product to the store for a full refund. Consumers who have additional questions or concerns should contact Publix Customer Care at 800-242-1227.
