Kroger posts Dessert Bars and Flour Recalls

Kroger posted the following recalls on their website.

SCHWARTZ BROTHERS BAKERY LEMON DESSERT BARS, 11.6 OZ

Affects QFC stores.

Reason: Lemon Pound Cake was packaged in a box labeled as Lemon DESSERT Bars.  Lemon Pound Cake contains EGGS which are not declared on the Dessert Bar label.  If the product is eaten by those with a sensitivity to EGGS, then a severe allergic reaction may result.

GOLD MEDAL UNBLEACHED ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, 5 LB

Affects Kroger stores located in Georgia; South Carolina; Auburn, Alabama; Hopkinsville and Bowling Green, Kentucky; Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee; Huntsville, Alabama; Texas and Louisiana; Mariano’s, Roundy’s, Fry’s, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, Food 4 Less, Foods Co., QFC and Smith’s stores.

Reason: The products may be contaminated with E. coli and, if eaten, may result in severe illness in those who consume it.
