Costco Posts Cookie Dough Recall

Costco posted the following recall on its website.

Nestlé USA is recalling recalling ready-to-bake refrigerated Nestlé®Toll House CookieDough 80oz tubs. The items involved are Chocolate Chip 80oz tubs with the unit UPC of 50000-00934and Chocolate Chip Lovers 80oz tub with the UPC of 50000-79587. This recall is due to the potential presence of food-grade rubber pieces.

This recall only covers specific batch codes that begin with 9189 through batch codes that begin with 9295.Not impacted by this recall are the following products: Nestlé®Toll House Morsels, Nestlé®Toll House Ice Cream Sandwiches, and Nestlé®Toll House Edible Cookie Dough.

Nestlé USA is taking this action after receiving reports of food-grade pieces of rubber in some of these products. We have identified the source of the rubber and have already fixed the issue. Members who may have purchased the impacted products listed should not prepare or consume them but should instead discard the product.They should contact Nestlé Consumer Services at1-800-681-1676 or by email at nestleproductinquiry@casupport.com, and retain proof of purchase(UPC, original cash register receipt, batch code or packaging)for reimbursement.
